WHO WE ARE

Hey there, my name is Asher, originally from Australia and now based in Sweden.I believe we are all longing for deeper connection. We have an innate desire to feel more alive, more present, and more at home in ourselves and our environment.Community and collaboration are at the heart of what it means to be human, yet it feels like we are moving further away from that truth every day. Many people are lacking purpose and feel powerless under the weight of modern life. Something has to change, and it all starts by looking within.

My inspiration for The Wild Ember came from a lecture by Ram Dass. He spoke of a roaring fire that exists inside each of us, representing our passion for life, our soul’s potential, and our ability to experience love and connection with ourselves and othersAs children, our fire naturally burns hot, wild, and free. But as we grow older, we slowly forget the innocence and curiosity of our youth that kept the flame alive. Our internal fire is gradually smothered until only glowing embers remain. These warm coals are full of potential, waiting patiently for the right conditions to burn bright once again. My mission is to help you reignite your fire.Through meaningful experiences, I aim to inspire you to reconnect with yourself, with others, and with the natural world. When we reignite our own flame, it naturally spreads and creates change far beyond ourselves. Like lighting a thousand candles from a single match, global transformation begins within.Want to learn more about what we do?

WHAT WE OFFER

I offer holistic, nature-based experiences designed to rekindle your inner fire and foster deep connection. With a background in Yoga, massage therapy, courses, workshops, and retreats, my work has always centred around presence, embodiment, and community. After recently training as a nature guide in Swedish Lapland, I developed a deeper appreciation for wild places and their power to transform. Now, I bring these worlds together, creating immersive experiences rooted in respect for nature and community.

What I offer:
• Yoga classes and courses
• Playful movement workshops
• Community events
• Sauna Rituals and Aufguss
• Multi-day wilderness retreats
• Local food over an open fire
Each experience is an invitation to slow down, inspire passion, forge connection, and rediscover the beauty of the natural world. If you feel the call to reconnect with nature and reignite your inner fire, I’d love to hear from you.→ Explore upcoming events

Yoga In The Park Malmö

Yoga In The Park was founded in 2020 by Asher and his partner Kiia in Malmö. Fresh out of their education in India, and with a global pandemic at hand, there were limited teaching opportunities in the city. Initially offered to friends, these classes steadily grew in popularity and a community began to form.Fast forward several years and Yoga In The Park has attracted hundreds of people every summer, and has collaborated with local musicians, guides, and companies such as What-Sup Malmö, Bastupaus, Nothing Sweden, Folkets Pops, Solsken and Roots Kombucha.Yoga In The Park is a playful practice offered every Sunday, all summer long. Our 6th season will launch at 10.00 on April 19th. We gather at Strykjärnet in Pildammsparken. Expect a 1 hour flow suitable for all levels. Just bring a mat or blanket to practice on.All of our classes are DONATION-BASED. Our intention is to offer Yoga to everyone, regardless of your economic situation. You can find our full schedule on Facebook
